So why am I wearing such Sweet Armor? Well, you see, when I originally ordered copies of Sweet Deals after the Kickstarter, I sent the files to the printer, got the proofs back, read through all 80 cards, combed through both the normal and solo rules booklets, and scoured the back of the box for any typos or misspellings. Everything looked great so I gave the ok to the printer!

Then I got a call. Good news and bad news. Good news was, all 3000 copies were printed and about to be assembled. Bad news... there was a typo on the box top.

Delciously!? DELCIOUSLY!? How did I miss it? Well, I didn't look at the box top well enough and I missed that I was missing an 'i'.

After much debate and thought I eventually decided to print new box tops, and this time with a different slogan. You see, I'd learned in the meantime, to convey to board game folk that the game isn't just cute art, but that there is depth and strategy there. The more you pay attention, the better you can play your own hand. It is, in fact,

A Game of Sweet Strategy

And that's what makes it a great game to share with your casual gamer friends & family, but also a great filler game at your normal board game night. If Sagrada finishes before Wingspan, play a couple rounds of Sweet Deals... or start the night with it as folks arrive, it plays 1-8, so players can hop in and out freely.

Sorry, back to the story. So I found myself the owner of not only 3000 complete games, but also all those misprinted tops.

So I reached out to my backers to ask what should I do? And they said make a costume and wear it to PAX Unplugged. So here I am, 184 box tops and 10 hours later, hopefully making you smile, giving demos, and, if you're interested, encouraging you to pick it up online at SweetDealsGame.com or even ask your Friendly Local Game Store to contact me or Bridge Distribution to get a few copies.

I guarantee you won't be dissappointed!

Check out some photos with backers that found me below (as well as when I walked in a parade for a block) and thanks for listening, thanks to the people who helped me build this nonsensical costume (Maria, Josh, Joey, Mack), and don't forget to stay sweet.
